德岛县一所高校暑假的闲暇时光里，作为特别补习，高二女生心（滨尾咲绮饰）和未来（仲吉玲亚饰）被体育老师山本（佐藤穗奈美饰）指示打扫游泳池中从隔壁棒球部球场飞来的沙子，棒球部正在训练，沙子不断飞来，打扫似乎毫无意义。游泳部的千鹤（清田实栗饰）和已经从游泳部退役的三年级生由衣（花冈菁饰）也先后加入打扫。不久，在对话中，女生们的感性与欲望、梦想与希望、愤怒与沮丧，在炎热的夏日中不断发酵，并紧紧交织在一起…。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
