テレビ朝日初の本格シットコムとなる本作は、さびれた温泉旅館・虹の屋の玄関とロビー、従業員室、大浴場の入口、エレベーターという限られた空間で繰り広げられる群像劇。主人公は虹の屋の3代目である父親に反発し家を飛び出すも、うだつの上がらない日々を送っていた柿丘哲郎だ。劇中では哲郎が実家の窮地を救うため10年ぶりの帰宅を果たすも、虹の屋は100年の伝統を誇る老舗旅館の品格やサービスが完全に消え失せ、一筋縄ではいかない従業員の吹き溜まりと化していた。。平凡大学生程大雷意外穿越到“大武”，但是脚踏实地，以自己的“现代智慧”，在深山一处划地为营，广纳贤能，发展壮大蛤蟆寨，摆平各种麻烦，带领寨民安居乐业。。Tanya arrives in London with her son Artyom, expecting to be met by her boyfriend.
