影片讲述了七旬至九旬的华裔女性舞者，从美国旧金⼭的唐⼈街，到古巴哈瓦那的街头，最终抵达中国，她们用舞步串联起一段段跨越国界和时代的故事。。在过去的十年里，一个年轻的女人由于未确诊的精神疾病，或者可能是由于吸毒，变得越来越不正常，而她更稳定的朋友有时试图帮助，有时会退后保护自己。 Over the course of a decade, a young woman becomes increasingly dysfunctional due to undiagnosed mental illness, or perhaps to drugs, while her more stable friend sometimes tries to help, sometimes backs away to preserve herself.。
