有別於第一季節目中，我們選擇許多極致驚奇的市場，例如：花蓮重慶市場-原住民元素、竹東市場-客家元素、南方澳-魚市場、台北濱江-拍賣市場、金門東門市場-離島昔日戰地……等等。在走逛過這些元素代表性的市場後，除了延續大家所熟悉的傳統菜市場，我們選擇踏入各個地方的小市場，更深入在地人們的生活。 我們挑戰用新的手法來與各種職人們的過招。第二季選擇市場的方向大致可區分為，地區文化代表性傳統市場、地方生活的小市場以及職人生活，當然不會少的是帶觀眾發現台灣傳統市場的美的一面。。BY THE PEOPLE: THE ELECTION OF BARACK OBAMA is a moving record of the Obama campaign's history-making odyssey to the White House.
