《RWBY》（发音同Ruby）是一部在2013年7月首播的原创网络动画。R、W、B、Y 分别是英语红白黑黄的首字母，代表的分别是四位女主角的主题色。 由美国Rooster Teeth Productions（公鸡牙齿）动画工作室RWBY团队制作，原作者兼前导演为已故动画家Monty Oum（蒙特·乌姆）。 第一季分为3卷（volume），vol.1和vol.2已完结，vol.3于2015年10月播出。。Based on the 1980s comic books by Tadeusz Baranowski, is primarily aimed at children. “But the element of nostalgia is obvious for today's 30- or 40-year-olds, who often are also parents, and I care about this intergenerational, shared experience of the film. I’d like adults to have fun watching it and to feel like children again for a while.”。
