A group of young pilots in a remote region of the Canadian wilderness begin to hear strange reports over their radios about planes crashing, cars stalling and a deadly plague which has gripped the planet. It becomes clear that earth is in the midst of an invasion. The group of pilots decide to barracade themselves in a cabin deep in the woods and wait for their impending doom.。东北小镇，白事先生张英豪和卖狐皮的王元顺意气相投。但背地里王元顺却与张英豪的媳妇李文红有染。李文红怀上了王元顺的孩子，王元顺决定杀死张英豪。然而他雇佣来的杀手竟屡屡失手。王元顺杀人不成反被杀手讹钱。无奈之下，他开始挑拨杀手们的关系……一年后，一具尸体惊现废井。警方确定王元顺有重大作案嫌疑。可王元顺却已离奇失踪，仿佛人间蒸发……。大佛像仍在山下等开光。铜像工厂外，一个是工厂警卫，一个是工厂老板，一个是靠资源回收过日子的潦倒男，就此交集出人间疯狂故事，连大佛都被扯下水。神明也会挑人保佑吗？人都不知道怎样当人了，大佛要怎样成佛？。
