本片以轻喜剧的形式再现了在新型农村社区建设中，老汉贾大顺不拆迁老屋这件事，引发了渔湾村村支部和村委会成员、大学生村官、自主创业复转军人与村里的“老顽固”们智斗的过程，通过新型管理模式，化解了人们之间的矛盾，最终村里拆迁了老屋，老汉“上楼”过上了安居乐业的小康生活……。Made during confinement, “In My Room” plunges us into the poignant story of a woman at the twilight of her life, through recordings of the director’s deceased grandmother.
