What will happen when you stop loving someone but they begin loving you?。蒲原时子（吉田羊饰）和母亲（富田靖子饰）之间的感情一直十分的要好，因此，母亲的不幸离世给时子带来了非常大的打击，她费了好大的劲才从痛苦的阴霾之中走出，可即便如此，她和父亲（国村隼饰）之间的关系还是产生了裂痕，时子无法自持的将母亲过世的责任转嫁到父亲的头上。 在给母亲扫墓的这天，父亲提出想要搬家，租住一幢租金不菲的公寓，他希望女儿能够给予自己经济上的支持。于是，时子提出了一个条件，她想将父亲和母亲曾经的故事写成小说发表，利用所赚取的稿费来支付父亲的房租。以此为契机，时子开始逐渐了解父母的过去，她和父亲之间的感情也渐渐的得到了修复。。
