本作は弁護士・神楽蘭が謎の天才脚本家・黒澤仁の力を借りて、現代社会の闇を暴くリーガルミステリー。蘭は親友を冤罪で殺人犯にしてしまい、現在は法律の世界から離れていた。1年後、彼女と同姓同名のリーガルエッセイがネット上に掲載され、“敗けを知らない敏腕弁護士”として祭り上げられる。欄はそのエッセイの作者である黒澤が書く台本の力を借り、親友の冤罪を晴らすために弁護士活動を再開する。。A lonely tow-truck driver gets caught in a deadly struggle between a pair of bank robbers with a beautiful hostage, local cops, and a monster that has come down from the Arizona mountains to eat human flesh.
