该片讲述的是一名在客服中心工作的聋哑人“京美”（秦基周饰）在午夜偶然遇到连环杀人魔“度植”（魏化儁饰）而展开的深夜追击战。。俄国军方新研制成功一种纳米芯片，如果把芯片植入特工体内，就能使其失去痛感。芯片还具有自我保护程序，植入芯片的特工必须在规定时间内返回，否则芯片会自动爆炸。但如此重要的东西却失踪了，俄军方为了找回芯片，被迫同意了得到芯片的神秘人物提出的2500万美元的报价，并准备通过法国情报机构完成这笔交易，神秘人物挑中了法国已经卸任的外交官，并用国家的利益说服了他。不过陪同外交官的翻译却看到了此行的危险……。The plot centres on forty-something Marie, who lives in the Hautes-Alpes department of France, cut off from her close family.
