本剧根据上世纪七十年代末八十年代初发生在天山的一个真实故事改编。电影真实再现了一位普通共产党员、复员军人陈俊贵为当年修筑新疆天山公路而牺牲的168位解放军烈士义务守墓24年的感人故事。。少年阿盛于机缘巧合下学厨于荣叔，因得罪香港西餐主厨被迫北上。在北京丽城酒店，阿盛尽显其才。然而在一次职场变故后，阿盛意识到自己真正追求的是一个厨师的本职。于是他重整旗鼓，开始了自己的餐饮事业。。Dr Nikki Alexander and Jack Hodgson are looking forward to the future.
