2017年7月より第2期として『むさしの！』のタイトルで放送予定であったが、2017年放送・配信予定と延期され、さらに2018年放送予定へと再延期された。それに合わせて代々木アニメーション学院マンガ科の選抜10名によるコミカライズも数か月間行われていた。遅くとも2018年12月時点で、公式サイトの表記は「2019年放送予定」と変更されたが、2019年を過ぎても放送されていない状態となっている。。Based on real events, the story follows a father and son (Offerman and Tremblay) who identify as Sovereign Citizens, a group of anti-government extremists, as they venture across the country and find themselves in a standoff with a chief of police (Dennis Quaid) that sets off an intense manhunt with tragic consequences.。
