The c...。本片跟《小鬼当家》是同一个套路，但“小鬼”的年龄更小，只有五岁，调皮捣蛋的程度也远远超过考尔金的角色。本片改编自50年代的漫画及后来的电视剧，小鬼丹尼斯跟邻居威尔逊老头的往来乃剧情的主线。该片在同年及1998年还有两部电影版，但每部演员都不同。。
