大学生青山霜介（横滨流星饰）在打工的地方与水墨画实现了命运的邂逅。霜介沉浸在深深的悲伤中，一幅用黑白两色描绘的水墨画在他面前展开，他的世界从此改变了。在巨匠筱田湖山（三浦友和饰）的邀请下，他走进了水墨画的世界。霜介虽然对仅用线条描绘的水墨画的世界感到困惑，但还是被深深吸引住了。。香港不少家庭都有聘請外傭姐姐協助處理家務、照顧家人，甚至主理全家的一日三餐。不過，出於彼此的飲食文化各異，當姐姐嘗試以自身烹飪知識煮中菜時，常會誕生一些創意滿「Fun」的暗黑料理。為了探究外傭可會真的廚藝堪憂，主持布樂文與施焯日除了走訪街市了解姐姐們的買餸情況，也會邀請向海嵐、艾威、路芙等藝人的外傭姐姐做菜，再由星級大廚李錦聯點評她們的下廚手勢，還會將菜式重新演繹，務求將暗黑料理變成星級美食！。Direct Action documents the everyday of one of the most important activist communities in France in order to see how the success of a radical protest movement can offer a path through the climate crisis facing us all.
