Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。吉川久美子（内田有纪 饰）最喜欢的地方就是羽田机场了，她做梦都想着有朝一日能够在机场里工作。终于，久美子的梦想成为了现实，她成为了坐落在机场内部的巨翅公司的员工。上班第一天，信心满满的久美子就被派往了旅游服务中心的服务台当班，成为了一名柜台小姐。 服务台是所有岗位里最繁忙，最辛苦的一个职位，需要应对的都是突发的紧急事件。刚刚上任没多久，久美子便闯下了令航班延误的大祸，虽然久美子坚信自己没有做错，但这场意外让她开始明白，自己将要面对的，是一个又一个棘手的任务。栗山健（柏原崇 饰）是久美子的同事，性格不合的两人常常产生矛盾和争吵。。普通高中生筒井光（佐野勇斗饰）是一个二次元超级发烧友，他的爱好不被周遭所理解，只有另一个发烧友伊东悠人（ゆうたろう 饰）深深了解对方的处境和心情。因为游泳课迟到，他与学校内的超级大美女五十岚色叶（中条彩未饰）被罚打扫卫生。色叶旷课逃学，绯闻不断，而且自有恃美貌而目中无人，简直集三次元女生讨人厌的地方于一身。对方迷人的外表令他心慌意乱，虽然讨厌可又着迷。几经周折，色叶向他表白，然而筒井粗鲁地拒绝了。另一天，筒井尾随色叶而行，结果目击到色叶被人冤枉盗窃的场面。关键时刻，筒井挺身而出，帮助女孩化解危机。随后他原本打算就之前的事情道歉，谁知脱口而出竟是“请和我交往”的话语。从这天起，筒井和色叶成为校园中一对受人指指点点的异样情侣…… 本片根据那波麿的同名漫画改编。。
