该剧根据芥川龙之介的《上海游记》改编。影片讲述100多年前，作为《大阪每日新闻》记者的芥川龙之介来到上海的所见所闻。。在某天夜晚熟睡中的素娥受到自家宫庙月老指示，代理“现代红娘”一职，素娥因此可以看到情侣彼此间的爱的电波，如两人相互喜爱便会接触成为一颗爱心，听得到心跳加速声，还有看到属于俩人彼此之间手上的红线，如红线牵在一起便表示喜事将近等特殊能力，代替月老执行情侣媒合任务。而这项新能力却让素娥自己感到不甚其扰甚至于有妨碍到日常生活，但碍于天命加上王爷亲自交待恐难违，素娥在谨慎和恐惧中开始她的新任务。。Written by Kosta Kondilopoulos, the film follows two gamblers who are released from prison and decide to open an illegal casino. Pick Tarantino is set to portray the girlfriend of one of the two protagonists, who become entangled with the mafia throughout the film.。
