A parable about the situation of the First Nations, seen from a female perspective.。《女婿难当》讲述的是任家一家老小的故事，任大伟和女婿曾自强，处身在一个丈母娘强势的家庭之中。老少两代女婿，不但要应付种种家庭危机，还要费劲心思和强势的丈母娘斗法，和任性的小姨子斗法。尤其是围绕着怀孕、买房等问题时，女婿花招百出，丈母娘也是费尽心机。剧集虽然讲述的是家长里短的故事，但是也折射出许多社会的现实来。。
