姜大年和庞边二人无意中被卷入到一场关于“毒品”的事件中，兰州的“大哥”发出“江湖追杀令”命令全城的社团找到二人。正当二人一夜之间快要跑遍全兰州时，才发原来这一切都是庞边安排好的，因为姜大年从台北来到兰州后，开始沉迷于酒色财气的生活，于是庞边找到了自己的练手（兰州话“兄弟”的意思），决定一起演一出戏，让姜大年在经历的过程中学到什么是责任，什么是担当，什么是爱，最终姜大年懂得了生活的意义，离开兰州，回到台北找回了自己心中最爱的女人。。该剧设定在后末世的废土上，无名氏John Doe（安东尼·麦凯 Anthony Mackie 饰）是一个对过去毫无记忆的送奶工，口齿伶俐，车速也飞快。某次他得到了一个过上更好生活的机会——将一个神秘的包裹运送到后末世世界的荒原中。途中他和凶猛好战的偷车贼Quiet（斯蒂芬妮·比翠丝 Stephanie Beatriz 饰）建立了敌对关系，两人在这条道路上面临各种威胁：野蛮的掠夺者和开冰激凌卡车的精神错乱的小丑（威尔·阿奈特 Will Arnett 配音）。。"In 1998, Jean-Luc Godard made a short video entitled Adieu au TNS (Farewell to the TNS).
