However, she gets drawn into their lifestyle and finds...。1930年代，第二次国内革命战争时期。绿林首领白莲花（吴海燕 饰）杀死世仇冤家高敬轩，时逢红军团长肖烈（宫喜斌 饰）前来邀她参加红军队伍，联手抵御白军师长高占魁（胡浩 饰）。白莲花仰慕肖烈艺高人胆大，杀掉新婚夫婿——奸细柳飞，毅然率部参加红军。收编白部后，肖烈帮助他们克服了与生俱来的绿林恶习，并在战斗中与白莲花结为伴侣。高占魁趁红军内部分歧，设计离间政委彭炳青（徐阜 饰）与白莲花的关系，分裂红军内部组织。彭中计后，关押了白莲花。期间，肖烈与她永诀。当彭炳青发现自己中敌离间计，后悔不迭，此时白莲花万念惧灰......。
