The series follows James St. Patrick, nicknamed "Ghost", owner of a popular New York City nightclub. In addition, he is a major player in one of the city's biggest illegal drug networks. He struggles to balance these two lives, and the balance topples when he realizes he wants to leave the drug ring in order to support his legitimate business.。一次偶然中，泰普（埃里克·帕拉迪诺 Erik Palladino 饰）在路上捡到了一个空钱包。之后，他带着钱包到朋友家打牌。在牌局开始之前，百无聊赖的泰普意外的在空钱包里找到了一个电话号码，于是他打电话给失主，让他上门来取钱包。挂了电话之后，泰普又在钱包里找到了一张彩票，让泰普没有想到的是，这张彩票竟然中了大奖。经过了一番心里挣扎之后，泰普将自己没有中奖的彩票和钱包里的彩票对调了。 失主（詹姆斯·厄尔·琼斯 James Earl Jones 饰）是一名出租车司机，当他拿到钱包后很快就意识到，自己的彩票被人掉包了。泰普邀请他和他们一起玩扑克，失主答应了，他想要借此机会夺回属于自己的东西。。王尔德饰演一名复仇天使，帮助受害者们向施虐者复仇。。
